According to Mundo Deportivo, a Brazilian sports paper, the Brazil superstar has informed Santos players that he is ready to make the switch to Camp Nou after the Confederations Cup this summer.
The report claims Barcelona are ready to pay the €40million required to bring the 21-year-old to Cataluña as soon as possible, after making a €10million down payment on him and securing a pre-contract agreement.
Neymar rejected offers from other top European clubs including Barcelona’s La Liga rivals, Real Madrid.
The forward, already a crucial member of Brazil’s national team, has been tipped to be among the world’s greatest players of his generation.
